Nora was Amazing!!! She really was a great help with all the planning. She helped provide us the best vendors and saved us a lot of money. She worked well with us and our budget. She had great ideas and suggestions that worked perfectly with the vision I had for our wedding. On the day of our wedding we came across a situation that could have ruined my day, but Nora was so amazing and just handled everything. She approached me with the situation and had a plan to fix it immediately. She was great!!! We had the best wedding and reception ever. When i think of the perfect dream wedding, I think of my wedding. It was amazing and everything came together perfectly. Our guests all complimented us on how great our wedding was and how much fun they had at the reception.

Where do I begin... Nora was absolutely A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!! She went well above and beyond again and again for me and I can't thank her enough. I hired her as my day-of coordinator only, but I feel like she was my full wedding planner. She was always available to answer the millions of questions I asked of her, she had tons of excellent advice to offer me, and she was simply a pleasure to work with. She was so kind and understanding and really came through when I needed her. For example, a few days before the wedding I was stressing and running around like crazy, so rather than ask me to bring all my wedding stuff to her office, she drove out to my house to pick it up to make it easier on me. I feel like she went above and beyond because I certainly did not pay her a lot to do what she did, and I will be forever grateful. My husband and I paid for our own wedding, and she was very understanding that finances were a little difficult for us. She made every effort to give me the best price she could for her services, but also helped me find some great vendors to help save me money without sacrificing quality. Additionally, Nora definitely knows her stuff and knows a lot of people in the business, so if you can go with her vendors and hire her for the whole package, do it. I ended up hiring a few vendors on my own, but then later found out that they work with Nora and could have offered me a better deal had I gone through her. She also works for the catering company Americaters. I did my catering through them which was equally amazing, but it was great to be able to work with Nora on that end as well. She really worked with me and helped me negotiate a good price for my catering, and in the end the food was amazing and the service was very professional. I really felt like Nora was on my side throughout the whole process, helping me to negotiate with vendors and get the best deal and the best quality service. As for the wedding itself, it went off without a hitch thanks to Nora. She ran the show like a pro. The wedding was at the Deering Estate which is a really complicated high-end venue because you have to bring in all the vendors on your own, but Nora really knows the place well and knows the logistics of how to make the event run smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of my wedding because Nora had it completely under control the whole time. There is literally not one point of criticism I have for Nora. If you are looking for a wedding coordinator you can TRUST, who will do an incredible job, and who will also give you a great, honest price, Nora is it. My wedding was hands down the best day of my life, and I genuinely have Nora to thank for making that possible.

Nora was a pleasure when planning our wedding. She certainly knows her stuff and was very helpful in making decisions. I had a wedding outside and she was responsible for the tent and everything to make it look NOT like a tent. I can honestly say I was shocked when I saw it. It looked better than I ever thought possible! Nora means business and she knows hers well. If you want your wedding planner to be your best friend and hold your hand and agree with everything you say or demand, don't go with Nora. Nora delivers what works!! She was not afraid to go against things I suggested and at the end I was thrilled because she clearly knew better! Nora takes her job serious and it shows in her work. Thanks again Nora! I couldn't have been more satisfied with my wedding!

We decided to hire Nora once the wedding was getting closer and I (bride) was starting to feel a bit overwhelmed since I was trying to plan everything on my own. Nora met with us and I/we immediately felt very comfortable in handing over all the remaining planning. She headed our rehearsal two days prior to the wedding and was there from beginning to almost end the "day of." It was the best decision made to work with her. She took over and I had zero worries on that day. She went above and beyond to make sure our special day was perfect! Nora is wonderful and made us feel so at peace with her patience and dedication. She is someone who takes her job seriously and has a passion for it.

Jaime and I got engaged and had very busy schedules so I panicked! A friend at work gave me Nora's information and I called her. This has been the best decision I could have made with regards to our wedding. When our wedding day came, we were very surprised to see that everything exceeded our expectations. We actually got more than we paid for. One of the things I loved was the decor (we had a beach themed wedding) Though we had mentioned to her we would like charger plates but we could not afford it, she surprised us with beautiful silver charger plates. This is only one of the many extras she did for us. My family and friends from work were very surprised that we were able to pull off such a beautiful and elegant wedding on our tight budget. We worked with Nora on a wedding in Fort Lauderdale, important since the bride was now in Chicago and the MOB (me) in upstate NY. Nora was easy to work with, had great suggestions, and through her efforts the wedding was flawless. My goal was to enjoy this wedding top to bottom - goal achieved! Because of Nora, I was able to focus my attention on family, friends, and the celebration. She handled all the details, kept us on track before and during, and bottom-line - just took care of everything. Her demeanor was professional at all times, her attitude upbeat, her dress appropriate, and we received kudos from all attending. Thank-you, Nora, We couldn't have done it without you.

Throughout my entire wedding experience, spending time with Nora, the experience was truly unforgettable. In everything that was taking place, she was well organized. She had all of the activities scheduled properly coordinated and arranged around what was convenient for me. She always gave her honest views on what she thought of all the ideas that I had. The vendors that she recommended were very professional and they all delivered what was requested to a very high standard. On the wedding day, tears came to my eyes when I saw my ideas unfold. Nora made everything happened just the way I wished. She managed the entire day and made sure that everything went according to plan with no interruption at all. From the moments before the wedding begun, during the wedding and through the reception, the whole experience for all of us was truly magical. My wedding to me was as perfect as it could ever be. I could never have had this experience the way it was without the wonderful creative expressions from Nora and her team. Nora is absolutely amazing! Absolutely Fabulous Weddings & Events is exactly what we received......Fabulous!! We had so many of our friends say this was the best wedding they had ever been to. Nora is extremely talented and creative and every idea she had was perfect. She is friendly, polite, professional and responded immediately to every question or concern we had. She kept me informed of the progress every step of the way. I know that my wedding would not have been the same without her. Every vendor was wonderful from the venue, cateror, DJ, photographer, and videographer. You will not be disappointed with Nora - Absolutely Fabulous Weddings & Events! I will recommend her to all of my friends!

Where do I start? Nora is absolutely 100% straight GARBAGE as a wedding coordinator. Do yourself a favour and find someone else. We had our wedding & ceremony at some of the most elegant venues South Florida has to offer (The Riverside Hotel-wedding ceremony & the Josephine Opera Center--reception) & each point of contact at these respective venues both agreed that she is just terrible. Nora will not go out of her way & accommodate anything for you and had the nerve to wear jeans on the day of our wedding. She has a list of her preferred vendors that are in cahoots with her and will charge you an arm & a leg. She set us up to meet a vendor for pictures and he couldn't even speak English and my wife & I both speak English only. I recommend anyone that hires her to do your research and find your own vendors so that you have some sort of idea about what you should be paying because if not, Nora will have all of her friends and buddies as the vendors for your wedding. Nora is also not a people person at all which amazes me as to why she is in this business. She gets frustrated, gets short with her words and even expresses a tone isn't professional. The very 1st time my mother met her she wanted to strangle her. Nora is just flat out terrible.....literally. During our wedding rehearsal Nora had to audacity to tell my wedding party "Everyone here is an adult so remember your place in line because I don't have time to". Everyone in our wedding party was offended so I had to step in & tell her "Nora you are a paid employee and it's your job to make sure everyone is in the right place in line". My family wanted me to fire her plenty of times but we didn't because she already had our money. I was literally about to fire her right then & there. It's the wedding planner's job to make sure everything on the day of the wedding goes off without a hitch and Nora did not do that at all. Our wedding ceremony was an outside venue and the day of the wedding it rained a little as the groomsmen & bridesmaid were walking out, as the last groomsmen & bridesmaid were walking out it started to pour of which we put I (the groom) put a halt on the wedding because I didn't want my bride to walk out in any rain. Can you believe that Nora tried to rush my bride down the aisle in the rain?? Yes she did just that, her father had to take her aside and go into side room so that she would not get what. We had protocols in place that if it rained then we would go to the inside venue of the Riverside Hotel which was already supposed to be set up. Well it wasn't set up at all, in fact there were about ten tables in the inside venue & Nora didn't have her staff do anything to even make it look presentable for a wedding. One of my good friends took it upon himself & gathered other guys to move the tables back so that the bride had an aisle to walk down....yup...Nora would've had my bride walking without an aisle but that's not even the half of it. Once it did rain and we moved the venue inside, Nora had the guy I hired in charge of the sound to go to the reception venue without asking me or the bride. So now my entire wedding party is walking in WITHOUT any music. The bride would've come out without music unless my best man & I didn't come up with an idea. Thank god for Mp3 phones, we googled the song she was supposed to walk down the aisle to and saved it to his phone and he played the song on a microphone as the bride came down the aisle. Why would Nora tell the sound guy (DJ) to leave the wedding venue is beyond me? The reception went off without a hitch until the end of the night when Nora asked us for an additional $200 because Josephine Opera Center representative told her that the venue had to be cleaned out by 1am. According to her, she had already coordinated a reception at the venue yet she didn't know about the fee if they weren't cleaned out in time and had the audacity to ask us to pay this on the day of our wedding. The audacity of this woman is out of this world. Every vender we hired did not like her, they all had bad things to say & we used some of the best vendors around. We used uplyte.com for our lightning & the contact people there had bad things to say. We used sculptured ice (http://sculpturedice.com/) for an ice luge that we had at the wedding & they had bad things to say. Our limo company (http://www.milleniumlimo.com/) had terrible things to say about her. The wedding planner at the Riverside hotel told our parents "she's the worst coordinator he has ever seen". All in all, Nora is just str8 garbage. You would be better suited to find someone, anyone, other than her. She's a disgrace to the entire wedding planning & coordinating profession. Lastly, the pictures you see on her website and face book page ARE NOT HER DOING so don't be fooled. My wife & I were responsible for every single detail in our wedding & reception, every single one so don't let her fool you into thinking she's the reason for anything. We decided every single detail.

What can I say other than spectacular, stupendous, fantastic and well, you get the picture. Nora was so on the ball it was incredible. We met Nora through our Caterer. She was so perceptive and meticulous. I don't want to get to carried away but not only was she the best wedding planner we (my husband and myself)ever met, she was also like having a best friend, mother, sister, confidant, bodyguard and lawyer all wrapped up in one person. She would finish sentences, politely of course, before I would with the words I was going to say. She had a natural instinct for the wedding planning business and had the patience of a saint. I now see this business can really try one's patience. Nora I just want to say, "YOU'RE THE BEST!

Nora, I'm sorry I didn't write sooner, but in a way it was a blessing in disguise. Simply put, there is no better wedding planner than you. I'm sorry I recommended these people but on the other hand I'm glad my husband and myself were guests at their wedding. I know your talent in the wedding business is unsurpassed. Every detail was taken care of by you. You had my and at the time my Fiance's total confidence in you and always will. Our wedding from A-Z was perfect. I guess with a little time, the true nature of a person will eventually show itself. I can now see that your hands were tied and could not do what you do best, Weddings! I did not hire a limo service as suggested and can now see why. At their wedding I was informed the that the limo service was an hour late. Maybe that pushed the ceremony into the rain. My husband and myself got wet but it wasn't that bad. If there were plans in case of rain, why weren't they implemented alot sooner and more organized than they were? Does the hotel NOT have windows or weather forecasts? Why was the room NOT set-up for plan"B"? I know when we had our wedding everything was set-up perfectly. I mean come on, Lighting, Thunder, Dark Clouds, Light Rain. The Groom insisted he have complete control from the beginning so why was the wedding continued outside when it was obvious it should have been stopped and brought inside? I know when we were planning our wedding you made it a point that if my husband and myself wanted a summertime wedding in Florida outdoors, we should seriously consider a tent. Maybe the Hotel doesn't allow tents? Well anyway, we had it in the springtime and everything was wonderful. I know you recommended several venues to me and my husband. I think the bride and groom chose the hotel and opera center. I also couldn't help but notice they had the same photographer as my husband and myself. They always spoke English to me. I also saw how you got the DJ and his equipment out of the rain. I was also very impressed when you used a little ingenuity and got the hotel's sound man to play the music through his cell phone into the hotel's microphone for the wedding ceremony. I'm glad the wedding reception ended on time. My husband as well as many of the guests still there were tired and the extra money needed to pay for the additional time would probably have been wasted. My ceremony ended on time and my guests were very happy. I have to give them credit though. They gave their vendors free advertising by not only stating the company names but also giving out the company's website addresses. Pretty slick! But as far as my husband and myself, their wedding went extremely well, except for a little rain, and like mine, the reception was perfect. Nora, I hope people will see through these misconceptions and when they hire you to do a job, they should let you do it. As far as my husband and myself we will keep recommending you.
