Carla Hagan Designs

This was the worst experience I have EVER had with a vendor. We hired Carla Hagan for calligraphy. At first she seems like the nicest person in the world, don\'t be deceived! I should have realized when she never answered the phone but always called back, that\'s probably because she has screwed so many people and doesn\'t want to pick up the calls.\r\n When we met with her she told us it would cost $2.50 an envelope. When we went to pick them up she charged us $3.00 stating that because of the liner it would be more, when she didn\'t tell us that when we dropped them off and she saw the envelope. She also said if there were any problems she would be happy to fix them and she would keep a few to do so. After reviewing the envelopes we found that she did not write out the city (instead put an abbreviation) on about 20 out of the 120 of them. She also put Mrs. and Mrs on one of the envelopes and had missed part of the address on 2 of them. After contacting her several times with no response (via cell, email and text) she, after 4 days gave me some long explanation how that was acceptable. I could not believe it. She kept 30 of my blank envelopes and will not respond to my texts, emails or phone calls. DO NOT USE CARLA HAGAN. She was awful to work with and I had to hire someone to re-address the ones she messed up. She is the most unresponsive person and was so rude the day after she got the remainder of the money. I can\'t believe how she did a 180 on us after collecting the money. DO NOT BE DECEIVED by this person.

I have worked with Carla over the past year for all my wedding calligraphy needs. She accomodated my hectic schedule. She always had what I needed completed before the due date proposed. Her work is one of a perfectionist and added such elegance to our wedding. Carla worked with me since January when we sent out our save the date cards and had my thank you card envelopes addressed for me and delivered to my home the monday after my wedding. I highly recommend Carla, she not only is exceptional at her art but a pleasure to do business with.

Carla is amazingly talented and creative. I am always impressed with her beautiful work. Carla did not only my wedding envelopes but also my baby shower invitations. She is great and easy to work with.
