Cosmetic Goddess

I contacted Abby Cameron for a makeup trial for my wedding and she was very helpful during the trial and I was overall very happy with her that I booked her to do makeup and hair for myself and makeup for my sister. I gave her a deposit to book the date. About a month or so before the wedding I contacted her to ask her about adding my bridesmaids to get hair and makeup done and I never got a response from her. I called her, emailed her several times and the response I got the following email:Hi Susan!Im not certain what is going on, but this is the first email I am receiving from you. I actaully SENT an email to whatever email I have on file for you about 2 weeks ago, and did not receive a response from you. I hope that all is well, and that you're planning is going smoothly. I have everything set for your appointment, and there are absolutely no issues whatsoever pertaining to your date.My apologies for any mix ups, and please do not hesitate to contact me at this email address should you have any questions.Abby Cameron954.638.4219SceneSQUARED StylingShortly after I received this email I contacted her back explaining that I wanted to know what email address she was trying to send to, and she never addressed that I called or even called me back. After I contacted her, I never heard from her.What really confused me is that the name of her company changed form Cosmetic Goddess to SceneSquared Styling. I believe if you go to www.cosmeticgoddess.com you will go to now what is called Couture Generation. With no notifications to clients that the company name has changed definitely raises a red flag. From what I know about business, clients are the most important part of a business and because of Abby Cameron's unprofessionalism, I really don't recommend any brides to use her.

The makeup looked great and it stayed on all night threw tears and breakdowns! I would recommend her to anybody looking to get their makeup done for any event.

Abby did a wonderful job on the hair and makeup. She arrived on time and actually finished my hair and makeup ahead of schedule. The airbrush makeup held up well with the humidity of the day, but my hair put up a fight (after all, it was windy due to a tropical wave). I received alot of compliments and I am very happy with how everything turned out. She did my hair and makeup trial months before and asked me pointed questions to find out what I was confortable with and worked out a color scheme. She kept careful records of what colors and make up she used and utilized that on wedding day to acheive the same results.

I used CG's makeup services with Abby and was very pleased. They specialize in airbrush foundation which I absolutely loved. It lasted all day and night and is extremely light weight. You will not feel like your makeup has been caked on. Abby made me feel beautiful and she is very professional. She pays a lot of attention to detail which I appreciated.

My experience with Abby aka the Cosmetic Goddess, was HORRIBLE!I found her through wedding wire and used her because of the favorable reviews that she had and the reasonable cost for her services. She started out very professionally. When scheduling my trial, she was very responsive and even came to my parents house to do it, as I flew in from OOT for it. After that, she was a little slow to communicate by email, but nothing alarming. Two weeks before my wedding, she informed me via email (not even a phone call) that she was essentially double booked and would be sending an assistant to do the majority of my bridal party, but ASSURED me that she would be there by 4:00 pm, at the latest, when she knew I had to be ready by 5:00 pm. This of course did not go over well with me, A) because she was cutting it close with time B) there would be someone I knew nothing about doing most of the make-up and C) that she emailed me telling me instead of calling to make sure that I would be ok with it, since I am the one paying for her services, ie the customer! When I spoke with her 3 days before the wedding, she again assured me not to worry, that she would be probably be there earlier, but said 4:00 just in case she was running late.Well, my wedding day rolls around and her assistant Nina shows up on time and is super friendly. So, I am feeling ok seeing how Nina is doing such a nice job with the other girls. Then, the problems began... Around 3:50 my planner receives a phone call from "an assistant" to Abby, who says that Abby's cell phone is dead and that she is stuck in rain or some other excuse and that she is "coming." Somehow my planner and the "assistant" get disconnected. When my planner tries to call Abby, she is sent straight to voice mail. Then the assitant calls back (minutes later) and says Abby is coming but doesn't know when. Then, she proceeds to hang up on my planner after my planner tries to get a definite time of arrival. So, its after 4:00 pm and Abby is MIA and not even reachable. Needless to say, I was close to losing it. THANK GOODNESS Nina was so professional and calm. She did and amazing job on my make-up and really saved the day. If you need a make-up artist who is DEPENDABLE, do contact Nina. After the whole debacle I did not get a phone call, email, or ANYTHING from her apologizing or trying to explain the situation. I have put a call into her to try to sort it out, but have not yet received a reply. In addition to all of that, it looks like she may have over-charged me for the whole disaster. So, please, if you do use her, make sure you check your pay pal bill before paying it.

I found Cosmetic Goddess CG (Abby) on Wedding Wire and after reading the great reviews decided to contact her for wedding makeup & hair for myself and my BM's. Abby was fantastic from the start! She is flexible, accommodating and understanding, plus she's fun and friendly! She listens to exactly what you want and helps you achieve the look you're aiming for. I had 2 previous makeup/hair trials with other makeup artists who made me look horrible! After doing my trial with Abby and her hairstylist Sasha, I booked them on the spot for my wedding day! I received so many compliments on my makeup and hair and was thrilled with how I looked, plus my BM's and Mom were so happy I chose Cosmetic Goddess! Abby & Sasha came with me to the wedding location for touch-ups which I really appreciated too. I HIGHLY recommend CG and in fact, am using CG again for makeup/hair this weekend for an event and will always go back to CG when I need makeup done for a special occasion. You wont be disappointed!!!!

Abby was wonderful. From the time she did my trail run to the day of my wedding. She answered all my questions, was very professional, and I looked flawless on the wedding day. I highly recommend Abby for all your makeup or stylist needs. Thank you Abby for making me and my ladies look great.

WOW is all I can say about my experience with Abby (THE cosmetic Goddess herself). Not only did myself and my bridesmaids look beautiful beyond belief, but it all happened in a well scheduled, organized fashion. Our make-up looked naturally beautiful, but done up enough to say we looked famous on my big day. Her technique is very professional as well as fun, she had nothing but the cleanest supplies and more than enough colors/shades/types of make-up to suit anything I had asked her to do. If I could, I would have her do my make-up everyday!

Makeup was good, but it irritated my extremely sensitive skin for some reason. I normally never wear makeup, so this is probably why. In the end, we got rid of the redness and it looked phenomenal!
