Hiring Mariel to help me for the wedding was the best money spent. I had nothing to worry about on my special day and whenever I had a concern she would not only help me sort it out but she would also give me her very helpful advice given her broad experience. I would highly recomend Mariel to any one that asks me for a wedding planner in south Florida. Mariel: thank you so much for making it easier!!!!!

Hi AMIGA! What can i say that probably prior brides have not said...YES, you are THE BOMB...great personality, very efficient, energetic, comforting. You really made us feel very at ease throughout the entire planning for our special day. But, even more so, the day of the wedding. Even though, we are sure there were some hiccups along the way, we never found out. We honestly give you a 5 across the board and strongly recommend you to any future bride and groom. Hiring Events by Mariel was the best investment we made for our wedding day! Since the day we met Mariel she was enthusiastic and full of amazing ideas for our wedding day! She is extremely organized and easy going, two very important characteristics for a great wedding planner. Mariel is a modern day miracleworker as it pertains to wedding. Being the youngest person ever to fly solo around the world I've seen my fair share of events and wedidngs. In just a matter of 4 weeks she put together a beautiful dynamic wedding in a 30,000 square foot aircraft hangar. Everyone was amazed and we received tons of compliments in regards to elegance, lighting, cake, etc. No detail was forgotten and both I and my wife were truly amazed at her work!!! If you want to hire a professional for your wedding that is also a real person Mariel is your gal! She is down to earth, listens to your vision, questions and concerns and the outcome is spectacular. She is so creative and has so many ideas your wedding never has to be like anyone elses if you don't want it to. She sticks to your budget and still makes things look like a million dollars. She truly loves what she does and in the end you have a friend too!

We were recommended by our photographer to work with a wedding planner. It was the best decision we made. Working with Mariel took all the stress away and new ideas came to life. Mariel is incredible and was the reason our wedding was so perfect. Her and Virginia (her assistant) took care of every detail and ensure everyone was having a good time.Mariel is truly amazing to work with. She was always available to talk or meet. In every meeting she was so prepared and organized. Throughout the process, it felt as if I was talking to a friend or my sister. She has excellent taste and provided us with very creative ideas to have a unique wedding. From now on, I will call Mariel to help me with every event. SHE IS WONDERFUL!

Mariel was absolutely amazing and a lifesaver for me during the planning process. She stepped in when another planner fell through and went above and beyond throughout the 6 months I worked with her to create a dream wedding for us. She not only recommended incredible vendors which I was equally impressed with, but organized things down to the smallest detail so I had no worries on my wedding day. She answered countless of my calls that began with "I totally forgot I needed this..." or "We changed our mind and now want this..." with "Not a problem...I'll take care of it". She is a DIY-queen who creates amazing invitations, favors, programs, even votive candles...and it is obvious she loves what she does. I could go on for a while, but above all, I truly felt we gained a friend in the planning process, and I would recommend her without reservation.

I highly recommend Events by Mariel for your wedding or any other event planning services needed. She took charge of all the negotiations, worked with various vendors on our behalf, researched ideas, and saved us a large amount of money. Mariel and her design team suprised me with handmade wedding programs, place cards, wedding favors, and even a beautiful sign in book. She sent pictures of different ideas for flowers, cakes, favors, etc. She also put us in touch with an exceptional photographer. She was always at my fingertips when I needed advice or had a question and never had to ask her a question twice. She will be a friend for life and is great at keeping the bride calm :). Every detail was perfect! Our wedding was in the Grand Bahamas and Events by Mariel is based in Miami. She worked diligently to make it all happen without being on site! I highly recommend Events by Mariel. She is very professional and her work is excellent. I hired events by mariel to do my cake tooper. Not only she did a great and beautiful job, she also drove to my house to deliver my cake tooper because I was too busy wiht the final preparations for my wedding that I did not have enough time to go to her office. Mariel thank you very much. You made it very simple for me.

She is very open to new ideas and is willing to listen to your wants and needs. When it comes to decor, she is beyond creative and is always coming up with new ideas. She is supported by a hard-working team that helps her in many ways including producing all decor by hand. Once your wedding day has passed, you'll want to help and work for her! In addition, she is extremely professional and accessible; she is always only a phone call or text message away. My wedding was beautiful and I owe it all to Mariel!!

Working with Mariel is wonderful. She is such a genuinely kind and helpful, and always has a smile on her face. While my wedding was small at around 55 guests, it was quite the logistical effort to plan. I live in Vancouver, BC and the wedding was in Tucson, AZ. My younger sister recommended Mariel because she had worked with her before on other events, and said she was fantastic. So now I had a wedding planner in Miami! But really it couldn't have gone smoother. I never once felt that I wasn't getting the attention I needed because I was far away. Mariel was on top of it, and always came through.My ceremony was small and simple, but I did have a few small details that were custom-made for it. Mariel wrapped them up carefully and packed them in her famous 'Wedding in a Bag' suitcase. Not only was it cute and super convenient (my sister brought it on the plane as her carry-on), but all the pieces arrived safely. The wedding was beautiful and turned out better than I could have imagined. It was a dream.

The services rendered by Events by Mariel, were phenomenal, classy, beautiful and beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of. She was not only a wedding planner but also a friend. Brides tend to get extremely nervous as the wedding date approaches, but she not only helped me stay calm but helped to keep my mind at ease knowing that my wedding was in very good hands. Always keeping me up to date on what was going on and how things were coming along. She always kept in direct contact with me and even during the actual ceremony as nervous as I was, when I saw her running around making sure everything was perfect I knew I could breathe a little easier. Her details were breathtaking and she really cared about making my special day the best day of my life. Not only did Events by Mariel make my day an unforgettable one she made my dream of having a fairy tale wedding come true! Thanks Mariel!
