I started with Mariel a year before my wedding but felt like I knew her longer right away. She is very energetic, motivated, and organized. Her attention to detail is truly a gift. There is not one thing that I could have wished for more from her. She was always available to listen, comfort, and give understanding. In life it is not every day you come across someone as genuine as Mariel. I am truly blessed to have worked with her, my wedding was beautiful. Mariel and her husband are a very special team/couple. Mariel is truly a God send. Not only was she very easy to work with, she was also very professional and went to great lengths to make sure our vision came to life, and that we were happy! She took any last minute changes and unforseen events in stride and cleverly turned it into something even better than the original plan. Having Mariel as a wedding planner was a dream come true! She is amazing at what she does and executes everything flawlessly. Even though we live in New Jersey, Mariel helped us plan an incredible Miami wedding. She introduced us to many different vendors and helped us create a great team to hold our event. Despite being so far, I never felt that Mariel was out of touch- she was always available through text, email, facebook, or phone call. She always made time for us and somehow always knew the details of OUR wedding. Although she is clearly planning many events at once, you would never know. Mariel made me feel like I was her only bride every time we spoke. She is great at easing fears and concerns and acts like a therapist just as much as a planner. She is wonderful to work with and my husband and I both HIGHLY recommend her. She is a hard worker and so detail oriented, I would never choose anyone else to plan an event for us. The day of the event, like every other time, she was there for everything. Mariel thinks of EVERYTHING and adds personal touches that make the presentation over the top beautiful. Everyone who attended our wedding said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and SO much of that is attributed to the amazing work that Mariel did for us. We could never repay her enough- she is worth every penny, if not MUCH more, than she asks for her services! You will not be disappointed by Events by Mariel!

Hi AMIGA! What can i say that probably prior brides have not said...YES, you are THE BOMB...great personality, very efficient, energetic, comforting. You really made us feel very at ease throughout the entire planning for our special day. But, even more so, the day of the wedding. Mariel is a modern day miracleworker as it pertains to wedding. Being the youngest person ever to fly solo around the world I've seen my fair share of events and wedidngs. In just a matter of 4 weeks she put together a beautiful dynamic wedding in a 30,000 square foot aircraft hangar. Everyone was amazed and we received tons of compliments in regards to elegance, lighting, cake, etc. No detail was forgotten and both I and my wife were truly amazed at her work!!! Mariel was absolutely amazing with everything from start to finish. The only constructive feedback I would give is for the team not to keep giving me a new glass of champagne everytime I was almost out. I needed to be paced a little bit more, but every detail of planning to last minute emergencies were taken care of. I had no idea anything had been out of place.I had a PERFECT wedding thanks to Events by Mariel.

Mariel is incredible and was the reason our wedding was so perfect. She stepped in when another planner fell through and went above and beyond throughout the 6 months I worked with her to create a dream wedding for us. She not only recommended incredible vendors which I was equally impressed with, but organized things down to the smallest detail so I had no worries on my wedding day. She answered countless of my calls that began with "I totally forgot I needed this..." or "We changed our mind and now want this..." with "Not a problem...I'll take care of it". She is a DIY-queen who creates amazing invitations, favors, programs, even votive candles...and it is obvious she loves what she does. I could go on for a while, but above all, I truly felt we gained a friend in the planning process, and I would recommend her without reservation.

I highly recommend Events by Mariel for your wedding or any other event planning services needed. She took charge of all the negotiations, worked with various vendors on our behalf, researched ideas, and saved us a large amount of money. Mariel and her design team suprised me with handmade wedding programs, place cards, wedding favors, and even a beautiful sign in book. She sent pictures of different ideas for flowers, cakes, favors, etc. She also put us in touch with an exceptional photographer. She was always at my fingertips when I needed advice or had a question and never had to ask her a question twice. She will be a friend for life and is great at keeping the bride calm :). Every detail was perfect! Our wedding was in the Grand Bahamas and Events by Mariel is based in Miami. She worked diligently to make it all happen without being on site! I highly recommend Events by Mariel. She is very professional and her work is excellent. I hired events by mariel to do my cake tooper. Not only she did a great and beautiful job, she also drove to my house to deliver my cake tooper because I was too busy wiht the final preparations for my wedding that I did not have enough time to go to her office.
