Tanis made a very pretty cake but it was the taste that really made it stand out. We chose the chocolate chip cake and EVERYONE that ate it has told us it was the best cake they had ever eaten, anywhere. Her prices are great and I will definitely use her again for my kid's birthday parties.

I would definately recommend Let them eat Cake to anyone, I met the owner and she was awesome! and super friendly. The cake looked and tasted great!!! She was open to any ideas i had and helped me design the perfect cake!

The only complaint I have about my experience with Tanis was she missed certain details I wanted in the decor of the cake. The colors were off, I had asked for bronze and gold and got cream and yellow-gold. I was probably the only one who noticed this or cared, but all I heard from all the guests was how beautiful it was. I know that she was trying to call me a lot the day before the wedding to confirm a couple details, but I was unable to get back to her due to all the millions of things I had to do that day! That was the only negative, other than that, SUPERB. MARVELOUS. DELICIOUS! I'm an aspiring baker, and I am SOOOOO PICKY when it comes to cakes! Usually at weddings I hate cakes because they're dry and crumby, all the cake samples were so delicious we had a hard time deciding which flavors to go with! But being chocolate lovers, we went with Chocolate Tunnel Truffle Cake and White Chocolate Sour Cream Cake! People actually stole the left overs of the cake because it was so good! My cake was beautiful, 4 tiers, more than enough to feed 125 people, and only cost me $700. When I brought the picture of the cake I wanted to duplicate to other bakeries they quoted me at an average base of "$1200+" the plus being for additional flavors, colors, etc. Over all I was thrilled with my cake experience! I can't wait to eat the top tier for our anniversary! :)

It was everything I ever imagined and more! It was beautiful, elegant, unique, and oh so delicious! Tanis was wonderful! She knew exactly what I wanted, listened to my ideas and worked with me to make it so much more. To this day, almost three years later, my friends and family still rave about our cake! Every anniversary we get another (only one tier) cake to commemorate our special day. I can whole heartedly say that our wedding would not have been the same if not for “Let Them Eat Cake Bakers” and Tanis Lopez!

Tanis baked a wedding cake that not only was beautiful to look at but also wonderful to eat. Guests who were trying to watch their diets actually complained that this cake was just too delicious to miss out on! We wanted a simple but elegant cake (the florist decorated it with fresh flowers and leaves), and we got exactly what we ordered. The cake also had two different flavors, one for chocolate lovers (like my husband & me) and another for those who don't know what they are missing! Even the strawberry/yellow cake was scrumptious, though nothing beats the dense chocolate cake studded with chocolate chips.
