Medusa's Mane Hair & Makeup

I loved the way my hair & makeup turned out for the wedding. Couple problems though. I had gone down to the Keys for a mini vacation (I live 8 hours away) & for a trial of my hair & makeup before the wedding. Trial day came as well as my appt. time and no one showed. I called and spoke to Frank and he did not know he had booked an appt. for me. It was confirmed over email and phone before I had even left for the Keys. Luckily, I was in the Keys for one more day and they were able to do it then. I received maybe a $20 discount for the error they had made and that was it. Weeks before the wedding, I had also confirmed services to be done, who all on, and the price. The wedding came, my hair & makeup was finished, and as I was slipping into my gown and receiving all the oooohhhhs & awwwwwss from the mothers and all my sisters, Chris came to collect and upped the price by $80. I said...hold on a second, no one told me the price changed. He said, "Frank didn't tell you?"I said no, I was never notified of a change in price. Let me just say that a bride only carries so much on the day of the wedding. I did not have any extra money with me other than the tips for the vendors. Luckily, my mother-in-law sprung for the extra $80. It was embarrassing to have to borrow money last minute. They do a fabulous job on hair & makeup but be sure to print out your agreement and bring it to the day they are performing services:trial run or wedding day, so that you don't find yourself in a jam.

I had such an excellent experience with these guys. Frank and Janet arrived at my hotel promptly and ready to make us beautiful. Thanks to them, I looked absolutely stunning and also so very ME for my wedding. With almost no direction, my hair came out exactly as I envisioned and my makeup was so natural and pretty - perfect for a wedding on the beach. My sister and mother also had their hair and makep done and they too looked incredible. Both Frank and Janet were sweet, timely and professional. I highly recommend them!

The one word to describe Chris and Frank.... I LOVE THEM!!!!! They are the best at what they do. I hired them to do my make-up for my entire bridal party just a week before my wedding. I did a quick trial the night before our wedding and I recieved nothing but compliments on my make-up. The day of they kept us entertained. If you need someone to do your make-up they are flexible and came to us at the house we were getting ready at. If your ever down in marathon or the keys... call them!!!!

They came to us which was a huge help! They did a wonderful job for myself and my wedding party, especially for the cost. Everyone had different styles and most of my party was happy with each of their end result! My hair was gorgeous however it didn't last long enough to make it past the first dance. But that didn't damper my night one bit! With the help of my photographer and one of my bridesmaids, they fished out all the pins and down came the hair! Thanks guys! Cheryl

A horrible company to work with. Total nightmare. I hired them a few months before my wedding and was releived they had availability. After paying more than the deposit requirement- Payment in full... they cancelled on me. 3 1/2 days before my destination wedding. They cancelled. It was unbelievable. I was so stressed out. I had to pick my payment up on the way to the keys. It was in an enveoped taped to the wall of a motel. I didn't even feel safe... so I suppose it was a blessing in disguise. Do not waste your time or money... do not contact them. Rude, unprofessional, unorganized, crass.... are just a few words I would use to describe them. Frank is the one who typed the type in our emailed version of a contract, but hand wrote it is his calandar under a different date. I felt lied to and completely disrespected. They weren't even cheaper than other artists. Thank God I found n amazing artist to help me out of the bind they put me in.

Chris did such an amazing job! I recieved so many compliments on my hair & makeup (even after the fact when people were looking at the pictures) I'm so glad I decided to go with him, I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! It's super nice that he comes to your hotel room so you don't have to fight the FL Keys traffic right before your wedding. He's pretty easy to get a hold of since you can always call his partner Frank to get any information you need. And last, but not least, the price is great :)

Words can not explain how greatful I was to have them do my hair and make-up for my wedding. They are so talented and creative! I couldn't believe how I looked for my wedding. I felt so amazing. It truly made my wedding everything I wanted it to be. They were extremely sweet, helpful and very professional. I highly recommend them. You won't believe your eyes when they are finished!!!
