Your Special Day by Joni

Joni was amazing! There is no way we could have had so much fun planning and enjoying our wedding without a planner, but I cannot imagine any wedding planner nor have I heard of a planner that came come close to doing the job that Joni does. She has fantastic orgaizational skills, communication skills and people skills. All of the venders she recommends think so highly of her and did such a great job for us. Joni has such a fantastic personality! Joni made herself available at all times and responds immediatly to all questions or worries that we had. When the big day comes Joni is your girl! She made everything go so smoothly! We were able to just plain enjoy our day knowing that every detail was taken care of well in advance. The only problem now that the wedding is over is that we miss her! It is with great pleasure that I would recommend Joni! Please, if you really want to enjoy your wedding day and have a totally stress free and fun time planning it-call Joni!

First off, Joni is amazing!! We live in NY, and so planning a wedding in Florida was not easy, however, Joni helped us pull off a fabulous wedding. She knows all the best contacts, seriously they all exceeded our expectations. Joni was on top of every detail, she really took away a lot of stress! I know I would not of kept my sanity if it wasn't for her. She was my "person" for everything, and I can honestly say I miss her now that it's over! Out of all the money we spent for the wedding, my husband and I both agree our money was the most "well spent" on her. I highly recommend her to all you brides out there, she is the best!!

Joni knows this business backwards and forwards and has contacts with the best vendors in the area. She is patient and will talk to you any time she's needed. Joni understood my vision and helped make it happen, from the dress to the flowers to the food. Even after the wedding she has been invaluable in dealing with post-wedding blues and continuing to communicate with vendors. For my husband and I, being an older couple, it was important that understood exactly where we were coming from. I would highly recommend her to brides of all ages.

I was recently married and as the day grew closer I found myself with many more todo's then I had hoped for. My mother, who lived many states awa, who was helping plan my wedding began looking for assistance from a wedding planner in the Palm Beach County area to finalize plans and help on the day of. She found many contacts however Joni from Special Day by Joni was quick to respond and immediately put to rest the stress that was building within one phone conversation. Joni then began to organize the details of my non- traditional wedding and offered many unique and fun ideas to add to our special day. I contacted Joni on a Saturday morning approximately 4 weeks before my daughters wedding. My daughter and now her husband were getting married in South Florida and I live in MN and was feeling a bit overwhelmed. She said she personally was booked for the day, but would have an assistant work with us the day of the wedding and she would work with us prior to the wedding. After I got off the phone I was so relieved. I sent her a numerous emails and she would be back in touch very quickly; we also had 2 conference calls along with meeting with the hotel a few days before the wedding. What she quoted me was considerably less than others that got back to me that overwhelming Saturday morning! The wedding was amazing and completely stress free! I would highly recommend her services!

Joni is absolutely amazing! We had selected Joni to oversee the day of our wedding. However, Joni met with us and assisted with the planning well over a month in advance. She had everything handled down to the very last detail. I can't imagine the day moving so smoothly without her. She surpassed our every expectation and made our special day stress free and memorable. When anything did not turn out the way we had planned, Joni took charge and allowed us to enjoy our day. I wish there were more stars to check. I envisioned my daughter's wedding thousands of times since the day she was born, but none of those visions prepared me for the wedding day planned by Joni Scalzo. Not only was the wedding from "rehearsal dinner to honeymoon transportation" planned in such detailed perfection that there was no stress on my daughter (or me), but each detail was breathtakingly beautiful. creative and original. Joni truly listened to my daughter describe how she always dreamed her special day would be and she made it happen. The whole event was like a dream come true. Our wedding turned out exactly the way I had envisioned. Joni handled every little detail so that I didnt have to think or worry about it. She thought of things I never would of thought of. She is extrememly talented at what she does. She has great ideas and has an awesome sense of style and sophistication that shows thru her work. She knew exactly the kind of wedding I wanted and she made my vision come to life precisily how I wanted. She was as dedicated to my wedding as if it were her own and in the end it really showed! It was beautiful!!! I cannot say enough good things about her. Joni is very easy going, extremely sweet, talented, classy and a pleasure to work with!

Joni is absolutely fabulous! She really went above and beyond for my husband and I. We were planning an out of town wedding and she was extremely responsive via email and phone. She definitely helped me out with a few tricky things and offered her expertise on others. Although I didn't purchase the full planning package, she was very valuable to me the whole time, answering any questions I had.I purchased her day-of-services and she did just what I had hoped, which was taking care and organizing all my vendors, keeping to the timeline, making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be, which allowed me to really enjoy my wedding. She even dealt with one of my vendors bowing out the day of, which I know would have ruined my day, but by her dealing with it, I avoided that stress.If you are looking for a super sweet and knowledgable wedding planner who is extremely reasonably priced, I recommed Joni.

I hired Joni to be my Day of Coordinator. She went above and beyond what I had expected from someone who would just handle things the day of. She kept up to date with my planning and gave me great input and advice. She is sweet, creative and obviously loves what she does!! I would highly recommend her!

I highly recommend using Your Special Day by Joni for your wedding planning needs. I found Joni through her website, after I'd gone looking for some help to finish planning our destination wedding in her area. The wedding was set in Florida and we were in Indiana. We were having a lot of trouble with our decorator that we'd hired, and asked Joni to come in to help us work with her from that time until the wedding day. Up until that point, we hadn't had any problems but we were now seeing how it'd be beneficial to have a planner in Florida. Joni came in and did exactly what we needed her to do and more! She went to meetings for us at our location, she spoke to and arranged all of our vendor's schedules, helped me find amazing day of hair and makeup artists; and best of all, she dealt with our unproffesional decorator so we did not have to. Joni also kept us calm, and helped us find a new photographer when the one that we hired on our own turned out to be a scam, and ran off with our deposit. Joni was a dream come true, and she helped my husband and I's dream wedding become a reality! Her help was appreciated and meant more to us than she'll ever know!

I was not sure at first if i needed anyone to help me with my planning....after lots of stress I decided to get a wedding planner.... Joni was the first planner I spoke with... she had great energy, and I decided to go with her!! Thank gosh I did.... she was such a huge help with everything... Joni is WONDERFUL!!! She made my wedding better than my expectations. She is very professional, warm, easy-going, and just overall fabulous. The vendors she recommend are EXCELLENT. She definitely knows the industry. She is very organized. She is on the higher end of cost BUT worth every penny!!!! I highly recommend Joni!
