Your Special Day by Joni

Joni is a God-send and was worth every penny. She is very responsive. She is timely and professional. She also has a great reputation with the vendors. I used her for day-of services, and she did a fantastic job. She met with me several times. She communicated by email and phone constantly. She came to all my final appointments to make sure she understood what we had contracted for. She confirmed all vendors prior to the wedding and prepared and distributed a very comprehensive timeline to everyone, including the wedding party so we were all on the same page. On the day of, she took care of everything and the room looked exactly as discussed. She took care of all tipping and made sure I got all my items back. She also called the limo company before I even came down to let them know that they sent the wrong car. She was truly a lifesaver. I am so glad I found her, and I would not trust my wedding to anyone else. She is money well spent if you want to have a relaxing and enjoyable wedding day.

Joni was the most helpful, organized, friendly wedding planner! She helped me plan the most wonderful wedding, me working from California, and her planning from Florida, the location of the wedding. She suggested various vendors who were terrific, and she was very helpful in balancing me out. She managed all my vendors day of. Additionally, she was hired as a day of planner, but she was so much more! She helped me every step of the way, from the very beginning when I was searching for venues (she suggested the venue that I chose, and I chose it because of her work at the site with another wedding). All in all, I don't believe I could have hired a better planner! I would recommend Joni to anyone. She has many connections/relationships to other vendors, which makes life so much more helpful. She has a relationship with just about every venue, and everyone loves her. When you drop her name, everyone mentions how much they love her, and how great she is to work with! Overall, the best of the best!!!!

If you are looking for a wedding planner that is on top of her game, pays attention to detail and gets the job done, then look no further. Joni and her staff are amazing. We had a perfect wedding and it was in large part due to Joni. Unlike other planners we interviewed, Joni was always on time, had amazing suggestions and always responded to emails and phone calls immediately. It takes a lot for me to trust someone with something as important as my wedding, but without reservation, I can honestly say that Joni Scalzo is someone you can trust to give you the perfect wedding. From the beginning, she understood my personality, my taste and my expectations. Joni recommended vendors and they were all excellent. This woman delivers. It's definitely not a fluke that Joni has so many 5 star ratings! I would give her a 6 on "flexibility if I could-- Joni went above and beyond to make our destination wedding even better than we could have imagined. Her suggestions for vendors saved us time and money, her taste in flowers and design is exactly what I would have wanted since I couldn't be on location, and most of all, she cares about you and becomes as close as family. Wedding planning is really stressful, and you want someone who you can call to vent and who can talk you through all the issues that inevitably come up. Thanks to Joni's planning and direction, on my wedding day, I didn't have to worry about anything except having a blast and enjoying every moment of the experience. Both my husband and I are glad that we're finally married, but we'll miss our weekly hour-long calls with Joni.

I got married in Delray Beach, Florida, and Joni was absolutely amazing to work with. I was planning this wedding long distance from Chicago, and at first I thought I could handle everything myself. In hindsight, I seriously don't know what I would have done without her! She referred me to several terrific vendors (whom I used with great success and who were quite affordable), she understood our wants (some of which were non-traditional) and executed them perfectly, she was respectful of my budget concerns, she always made me feel like I was her only bride, and finally, she's just a delight to be around! We booked with Joni after we decided on the reception venue, and she was an enormous help on planning every other detail, big and small. On the day of the wedding, she was a calming and organized presence, and she made everything run flawlessly. She's a true professional, and handled everything (even my last minute changes to the timeline and speeches that ran an hour over time) with grace and a smile. I felt like I could count on her 100% to take care of any issues, which she did time and time again. Can't thank her enough for a wonderful day!!

Joni was amazing! Being in the high end service industry my expectations were high right from the start and from the first time we met to discuss a plan for the wedding she meet every expectation and then some. What words exist for this woman?!?! Having Joni guiding me through the planning process was a dream, there were things that I didn't realize had to be done, the little intricate details that a wonderful wedding planner would know to ask but all the magazines and websites don't really get that far into the weeds. Joni handled everything, from helping me get a block of rooms for the guests, looking over my contracts with the venue (many times), photographer, DJ, flower person, etc. When there were a few discrepancies with the venue, Joni was on the phone with them right away and her follow-up to me was impeccable! I was never left wondering what the state of one of my questions or an issue was. Everything was planned down to the minute, she coordinated with all parties involved and was literally the go-to person. People would ask me when something was going to happen or how, I would just tell them to relax and the wedding planner would take care of it, let her do her job. That's what I did and what a job she did!! I certainly could not have survived if it had not been for her, I actually enjoyed my wedding and spent time with my guests! Something I hear a lot of brides say they weren't able to do and wish they had a wedding planner! I was not stressed at all on the day and I owe it all to Joni and her expertise and professionalism! Joni was a dream come true and an absolute angel to work with!

Joni is a true professional. She was patient, organized, made great decisions, and was available for numerous telephone calls. My intimate destination wedding had all the bells and whistles of a large wedding. All of Joni's recommendations for other vendors were a hit, from the cake to the photographer. They were all top notch people who knew their stuff. I also appreciate the fact that she allowed me to mail wedding items to her. This was extremely generous and cost efficient. Joni turns good into PERFECT! When we first started planning for our wedding, my husband and I thought we didn't need to hire the professional help of a wedding planner. And we did pretty good at finding the perfect place for the venue, the photographer, the hair/makeup artist, the videographer, etc. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted as far as colors, flowers, style, etc. However, as the planning progressed and got down to the little details, we were both clueless...there were so many little details, and we wanted everything to flow smoothly from beginning to end. That's when it became clear that we needed help. Joni was referred to us by the catering director of our venue. He said she was the best and highly recommended her. Oh boy, was he right?!! Joni came into the picture one month before my wedding and she took over for us! She is so organized and so detailed oriented, she thinks of all the smallest important details, and that just makes you feel like everything is going to be ok and she gives you the peace of mind that you need before your wedding. We are very glad we hired her, our only regret is we didn't hire her from the very beginning of our planning. That would have saved us a lot of unecessary stress! I truly belive that with her help, our wedding went from good to absolutely perfect!

We were married 2 weeks ago, and have spent some time going over the day in our minds and have not been able to think of one thing we would have done differently. As the Mother of the Bride, the task of planning a wedding is daunting. I started researching wedding planners via the internet. Upon selecting three excellent wedding planning vendors in the Boca Raton and Palm Beach areas I began interviewing them.
